Duties and Responsibilities of Employees
Article (25): Employees must adhere to official working hours and not be absent from work or leave during working hours without permission from their direct supervisor, in accordance with administrative decisions issued in this regard.
Article (26): Employees are required to perform their work as required and to follow the instructions of their direct supervisors or their representatives.
Article (27): Employees must maintain their appearance and reputation both within and outside the company and ensure that their relationships with colleagues are based on respect and cooperation.
Article (28): Without prejudice to the institution’s right to compensation, employees must maintain the confidentiality of the institution and are prohibited from leaking any information or data from the institution’s records and documents or photographing or copying them without written permission.
Article (29): Employees must safeguard the interests, funds, and property of the institution, as well as keep books, records, and documents in designated places during and after official working hours.
Article (30): Without prejudice to the institution’s right to seek compensation, employees must not disclose information and data they access by virtue of their positions that may harm the institution’s reputation or property. This obligation remains even after leaving the job.
Article (31): An employee assigned the work of another employee or an additional function is responsible for performing it with honesty and diligence and is fully accountable to their superiors for this work. They are not entitled to additional wages for this work.
Article (32): Employees must adhere to the laws, regulations, and decisions in force and comply with public order and ethics during work.
Article (33): Employees are prohibited from accepting gifts or commissions from others due to the work they perform on behalf of the institution.
Article (34): Employees are prohibited from exploiting their positions and the powers granted to them to achieve personal interests in a manner that compromises the interests of the work. This is considered an abuse of power.
Article (35): Employees are prohibited from holding another job, whether paid or unpaid, without prior permission from the institution.
Article (36): Any employee who violates the duties mentioned above or fails to perform their duties appropriately will be subject to the penalties regulation enforced by the institution. The direct manager will notify the financial manager of the actions taken to implement the appropriate measures.
Article (37): If any problems or observations from clients arise at work, the employee must immediately notify their direct supervisor.
Article (38): The institution determines working days and hours according to work requirements. The institution’s executive director or branch manager can determine or change the number and times of working hours as needed, with the general manager’s approval.
Article (39): Work can be organized according to different working hours for some employees based on the nature of their work, as recommended by their direct manager and with the approval of the executive director or their delegate.
Article (40): Employees must adhere to the arrival and departure times during official working hours. The direct supervisor is responsible for monitoring attendance and has the right to take disciplinary actions against repeated attendance violations according to the institution’s approved penalties regulation, notifying the financial manager and the general manager.
Article (41): The institution has the right, according to work requirements, to assign some employees additional work outside official working hours and during official holidays and leaves, provided the assignment is based on a request from the direct supervisor and with the manager’s approval.
Article (42): The institution pays employees for additional work assigned to them, and the additional wage is calculated according to the provisions of the labor law in force in the country.
Article (43): The institution’s weekly holiday is Friday for administration staff or any other day during the week for project or warehouse workers. The institution also observes holidays on official state-designated holidays or other days determined by the institution’s management for any reason. The management, represented by the general manager or the executive director, issues an administrative circular before the specified date of official holidays, specifying the start and end dates and the date of return to work.
